He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville C. Bunting and Alice Pitts Bunting; and his wife Linda Barnes Bunting. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Bunting, Scott Bunting (Carrie) and Eric Bunting; his grandchildren, Joshua Bush (Erica), Jarrod Bush (Rob), Emily Blevins (Patrick), Keely Posey (Nathan) of James, Madison Fluharty (Logan), Caden Tucker, Cohen Bunting, Trejaun Bradford and Britlee Kolke (Cooper); his close friend Roger McGlade; and his pet Pip. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.

Memorial Contributions can be made in Jim's name to the Muskingum K-9 Adoption Center, 1854 East Pike Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
