He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Grosscup and Lawrence Grosscup; his in-laws, Clyde and Leota Dutro; his daughter Jill Grosscup; and his siblings, Dick, Bill Grosscup, Patty Sheppard, Marlene Hoskinson and Jean Lanning.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Grosscup (Dutro); his daughter Ginger Hamilton (Steve); his grandchildren, Bridget Riggle (Travis), Jason Boetcher and Britton Boetcher (Misty Merkle); his great grandchildren, Isabella, Payton Boetcher, Axton and Emerson Riggle; his granddaughters, Kara Hamilton and Katie Fitzmaurice (TJ); his great grandchildren, Early, Jesse Strickland and Tommy Fitzmaurice; his sister Carolee Lohan; his sister-in-law Betty Jane Grosscup; and his caregiver Mary.
