He was predeceased by: his father Amos McElwee. He is survived by: his former wife Lisa Durben (Rasmussen); his children, Ian McElwee (Kimberly) of Cambridge and Britton McElwee (Stephanie Dulude) of Zanesville; his wife Theresa McElwee (Moeller); his stepchildren, Keith Moeller (Jennifer), Amee Bertke (Phil) and Melinda Moeller; and his siblings, Patricia Irvin (James), Raymond Laws (Paula) and Charles McElwee (Penny). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
