Jane Pfeifer Obituary

Jane Pfeifer died after a courageous battle with cancer on April 4th, 2022 at her residence under hospice care. She was born July 26, 1944 in Zanesville, Ohio and graduated from Rosecrans High School in 1962. Her parents were Walter and Freda Brahler Noll. She is survived by her husband, Dave, of 57 years; her two very special daughters, Stacey (Mark) Craig of Zanesville and Shelly (Andrew) Strange of Worthington, OH; two very special twin sons, Dave (Kim) Pfeifer of Deer Park, TX and Doug (Jodi) Pfeifer of Centerburg, OH; one special sister, Joan (Fritz) Weidig of Zanesville; two special brothers, Tom (Kathy) Noll of Naples, FL and Fred (Carole) Noll of Zanesville; three special sister-in-laws, Barbara Shipps of Zanesville, Patti Thress of Orlando, FL and Judy Smith of Katy, TX; much loved grandchildren, Austin, Camden and Caleb Craig of Zanesville, Sylvia, Vivian and Everett Strange of Worthington, OH, Taylor and Lauren Pfeifer of Centerburg, OH, Colby Bludworth, Taylor and Erin Bludworth of Deer Park, TX, Michael and Kerri Pfeifer of Pasadena, TX; three precious great-grandchildren; Riley & Jase Bludworth and Kayden Pfeifer; and many loved nieces and nephews and their families.

Jane graduated from Ohio State School of Cosmetology in 1963. She married Dave, the love of her life and high school sweetheart in 1964. Their first daughter was born in 1966 and she felt blessed to be a stay at home mom, after that Jane and Dave raised twin sons and another daughter throughout the years. She has worked at Big Bear, Kroger, Board of Elections, Zanesville City Schools and Children Services. Jane volunteered at Salvation Army, Genesis Hospital and St. Nicholas Parish. Doing things with her family was her favorite.

She loved playing cards, working in her flower garden and just being outside. So many fun times camping with family and friends. Her trip to Ireland in 2019 with a dear friend was the highlight of her travels. Her faith, her family, her home and her church were her treasures. Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday April 8th at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Saturday April 9th at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Fr. Martin Ralko as celebrant.

Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rosecrans High School or charity of your choice in Jane's memory. Our family thanks all, the flowers, cards, prayers and friendships at this difficult time. A special thank you to her home health hospice angel, Selena Lewellen. Eternal rest, grant unto her O Lord. The Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. Zanesville is in charge of the arrangements.
