She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucie Gard (Nye) and Charles Ralph Gard of Mt. Perry; and her brothers, Charles K. Gard of Middleport and Don Dale Gard of Zanesville. She is survived by: her husband Joe Smith, Sr.; her children, Lori Smith and Joseph Smith Jr. (Angie); and her son-in-law Michael Brandom.

As inclined, family and friends are invited to make donations to the Morrison house of Zanesville.
