He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Medley and Eva Roberts; his children, Christina "Chrissy" Medley, Johnnie Medley Jr. and Pam Mitchell (Medley); and his sister Reda Dilley (Medley).
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Medley; his daughter Jennifer "Jenny" Toombs (Johnny); his grandchildren, Krista (Danny), Kasey, Aaron and Eric; his children, Cory and Dakota; and his siblings, Robert Medley (Polly), Sandra Baughman (Ron), Michael Medley and Phillip "Phil" Medley (Amy).
