He was predeceased by: his parents, Collie Thomas and Helen E. Messenger Miles; his wife Jane Lee Hoobler Miles; and his siblings, Betty Ann Pappas, Robert Miles and Harold Miles.
He is survived by: his sister Donna Macola (Mark) of Johnson City, Texas; his daughter Gwen Callas-Miller of Rhode Island; and his granddaughter Elyse Miller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
