With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kathy M. Abbott of Zanesville, Ohio, born in Marietta, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kathy left this world on March 21, 2026 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Kathy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kathy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold "Jim" Hayes and Betty Hayes (Sims); her husband Ronald "Ron" Abbott; and her brother Rodney Hayes. She is survived by: her son Randall Abbott (Jessica); her grandchildren, Zachary Abbott and Cameron Abbott; and her brother Jim Hayes. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren.
In honor of Kathy's love for animals and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to The Animal Shelter Society, Inc., at 1430 Newark Road, Zanesville, Ohio.
