She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Butler and Eunice Hill Browning; her daughters, Donna Christopher and Lisa Ridgway; her brother Russell Butler; her son-in-law Larry Christopher; her stepfather Robert C. Browning; and her brother-in-law Mike Redman.
She is survived by: her husband Donald I. Newman; her children, Therese Adams (Mike), Holly Thompson (Bryan Wireman) and John L. Newman; her sister Norma Jean Redman; her stepsiblings, Carolyn Browning, Denise Pugh and Bud Browning; and her sister-in-law Delores Butler. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
