He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Karr and Hildred Karr (Richards); his first love Shirley Karr (Bugh); his brothers, Larry Weidig and Ronald Weidig; his stepfather Herman Weidig; and his grandparents, Roy and Lillian Richards.
He is survived by: his wife Sondra K. Karr (Atwell); his daughter Marsha Cole (Robert); his stepchildren, Robin Parker (Dave) and James Donovan (Margaret); his grandchildren, Zackary Miller, Justin Donovan, Shane Donovan, Cory Parker, Allison Parker and Nathan Cole; and his great grandchild Isabelle Binkley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
