He is survived by: his wife Carla Samson (Newman); his daughters, Jackie Hall (Michael), Heather Pennington (Michael) and Kelly Foster-Petty (James); his grandchildren, T. J., Faith, Megan, Jonus, Olivia, Max, Alyssa, Taya and Taylor; and his siblings, Bobby Samson (Sandy), David Samson (Judy), Peggy, Sharon, Rose and Mary (Jake).
