It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby J. Hindel of Zanesville, Ohio, born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Forest Hilton and Orpha Carmelita Hilton; her siblings, Richard Hilton, Shirley Swinehart and Anita Doudna; and her brother-in-law Mark Hindel.

She is survived by : her children, Vicki Hunt (John), Chris Barnett and Lonnie Barnett (Debbie); her sister Josephine Potts; and her former life partner Larry Barnett. She is also survived by several grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
