He was predeceased by: his parents, Williard Dovenbarger and Nellie Dovenbarger (Coen); his wife Virginia Dovenbarger (Kirkbride); his daughter Tammy Yeagle; and his sister Betty Archer.
He is survived by: his son Curtis Dovenbarger; his grandchildren, Tresa Dovenbarger, Angela Hosey (Arnold) and Virginia Brown (Earl); and his son-in-law Mark Yeagle. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
