He is survived by: his wife Joann Bethea; his children, Donna Moates (Brett) of Sapulpa, OK and David Hood (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Kimmie Hood Tatum, Amanda Wooten Hamby, Katherine Hood, Julianna Hood, Tiffany Dease, Philip Vogt, Brennan Moates and Terrance Moates; his grandsons-in-law, Josh Tatum and Travis Hamby; his great grandchild Ava Hamby; his daughter-in-law Katherine Unbewest of Ada; his siblings-in-law, Don Bethea (Wilma) and Pat Greene (Richard); and his sibling's children, April Kennedy, Jerry Bethea, Mike Greene and Jeff Greene.
