He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert William and Joan Marie Collins Spatz; and his brothers, James Spatz and Thomas Spatz. He is survived by: his children, William Spatz, III (Kassandra) of Ada and Sarah Thompson (Nathaniel) of Ada; his siblings, Alan Spatz (Penni), Douglas Spatz (Julie) of Rock Springs, WY, Kenneth Spatz (Nicole) of Wichita Falls, TX, Gerald Spatz of Clearfield, UT, David Spatz (Lynn) of Murfreesboro, TN, Dale Spatz of Chesapeake, VA, Roy Spatz (Beatrice) of Fairmont, MN, Beverly Moore of Ogden, UT and Alberta Shaffer (Lou) of Clearfield, UT; and his grandchildren, Kylie Thompson, Nathaniel Thompson, Jr., Ian Thompson, Henry Spatz and Wiley Spatz. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Legion Post 72.
