He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Washington and Ruby Bryant Deaton; and his sister Janice Watson. He is survived by: his son James Mitchell Deaton (Shauna) of Ada; his stepson Shannon White of Ada; his brother Bobby Deaton (Sheila) of Stonewall; and his granddaughter Nicole Deaton.
