He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hatton and Lena Leslie Hatton; and his siblings, Leroy Hatton of Richard Hatton, J. B, Doug Hatton, Leon Hatton, Gerald Hatton, Juanita Capps and Darlene Chambers.

He is survived by: his siblings, Pat Hatton, Ray Hatton, Oletha Covington and Freda Johnson; and his sister-in-law Darlis Hatton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
