He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Vallis and Vera Mae Pettigrew Odom; and his sisters, Beverly Odom, Debra McNiell and Teresa McCullar.
He is survived by: his son Michael Rice of Arkansas; and his sisters, Linda Bryant (Carl) of Roff and Karen Odom of Ada.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Criswell Funeral Home (815 Arlington St, Ada, OK 74820).
