It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clayton Bruce Whitlock in Ada, Oklahoma, born in Wewoka, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Whitlock and Dorothy Whitlock (Clayton); his daughter Sherri Whitlock; his grandsons, Joshua Murray and Cyrus Clayton Phillips; and his brothers, Gary Whitlock and Phillip Whitlock.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Kirkley; his children, Sheila Childress (Jay) of Wewoka, OK, Pamela Jeffrey Sean of Anna, TX, Brenda Routt (Brian) of Edmond, OK, Charlie Whitlock of Ponca City, OK, Clayton Bruce Whitlock Jr. (Lisa) of Wewoka, OK and Marvelle Whitlock of Wewoka, OK; his sister Connie Peercy of Holdenville, OK; and his siblings-in-law, Terry Rose of Ada, OK and Tammy Lucas. He is also survived by 16 grand children; 16 great grand children, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
