She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Tom Allen and Rosa Lee Allen (Fountain); her brothers, Marion Allen and Ronald Joe Allen; and her cousin Tammy Castillo.

She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Simmons; and her daughter Rosa Pruitt (David).
