She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Day and Mable Day (Morris); her husband Dr. Gerald Brown; her daughter Debra Diane Jantz; her brother Dr. William Day (Wilmette); and her sister-in-law Wilmette Day.

She is survived by: her children, Jeralee McNeal (Roger) of Ada and Kevin Brown (Leslie) of Blackwell, OK; and her grandchildren, Paul Litson, Jonathan Litson, Jennifer Moore, Jordan Brown (Kristin) and Taylor Brown (Jessica). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in Emmie's name may be to Choice Hospice with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
