It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Thompson of Ada, Oklahoma, born in Alex, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Lane; her daughter Janet Johns; and her siblings, William Davis, Cleotis Underwood, Jack Ronnie Greenwood, Reuter Greenwood, Pearly Willoughby and Glennie Greenwood.
She is survived by: her daughter Rita Cummings; her sister Maurine Colquitt; and her grandchildren, Brian Bennett (Linda), Jared Cummings (Julie), Denisha Cummings and Dustin Johns. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
