He was predeceased by: his siblings, Elbert (Lois), Clifford (Thelma), Sam (Charlene), Kenneth (Ruth), Sylvia (George Breeden), Allene (Kenneth Cobb), Christine (Elbert Lewis) and Mary Ellen (Paul Williams).
He is survived by: his brothers, Loyd (Mary) and Wendell (Treva); his son Russ (Fionnuala); his grandchildren, Cait and Caoimhe; and his children, Chris, Griffin and Megan.
