He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton "Mickey" Dial and Ouida Lorene Lillard Garner; his wife Sondra "Sondie" Garrett; his son Dustin Gene Garner; his parents-in-law, Pug and Thelma Jean Garrett; and his brothers, Lynn Fowler and Terry Fowler.

He is survived by: his daughter April Davis (Greg) of Ada; his siblings, Benny Garner (Kay) of Hobbs, NM and JoAnn Bush of Levelland, TX; his grandchildren, Garrett Taylor (Layna), Paige Rinehart (Jesse), Tana White (Ryan) and Lynndie Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Rhett Taylor, Lakota Taylor, Raelee White, Ryker White and Wylder Rinehart. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
