He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Guinn and Hilda Guinn; his siblings, Estel, Vester, Buster, Burl Guinn, Sara Whitfield and Arlene Beal; his former wife Olevia Prince Guinn; his children, Cleaborn Guinn and Carol Guinn Wainscott; and his grandson Lucas Wainscott.
He is survived by: his sisters, Irene Haynes and Pearline Ratozlaff; his children, Etta Stovall, Roxine (Buddy Littlefeild), Anita (Lee Cowan), Bonnie (Tim McAnally) and Gary (Carolyn Thomas); and his grandchildren, Camey, Pete, Kim, Georgina, Trisha, Dawnetta, Chris, Josh, John, Natalee, Tricia, Amanda, Kimberly, Maranda, Destiny, Joshua and Jordan. He is also survived by many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
