He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy E. Rhodes and Lillie Belle Rhodes (Crabtree); his wife Betty Rhodes; and his sisters, UnaDee, Lavern, Gladys and Emma.
He is survived by: his children, Freddie Rhodes (Judy) and Shauna Burson (Donny); his grandchildren, Duane Rhodes, Dawn Calcaterra, Justin, Kayla Handy, Nathan and Brad Bowden; his great grandchildren, Caleb Shaw, Lucy Shaw, Griffin Handy and Nolan Handy; his sister Agatha King; and his friend Bruce Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory (401 N Main St, Eufaula, OK 74432). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crowder First Baptist Church (523 3rd St, McAlester, OK 74501).
