He was predeceased by: his parents, Sadie Katz and Benjamin Katz; his wife Helen; and his siblings, Alfred J. Katz and Bryna Katz Lane.
He is survived by: his uncle Sidney Katz; his daughters, Marsha Katz Rothpan (Jeff), Beth Katz Sherry (Mike) and Barbara Katz Cobin (Todd); his grandchildren, Drew, Shayna Cobin, Leah and Gabe Sherry; and his nephew Ron Lane of Ada. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
