He was predeceased by: his parents, James Folsom and Sarah Folsom (Greenwood); and his siblings, Woodro Wisdom, Raymond Anderson, Charles Folsom and Bernice Tyson.

He is survived by: his niece Carlene (Beryle Haag). He is also survived by five siblings, having three brothers and one sister.
