He was predeceased by: his parents, John Renfro Herndon and Likie Evalyn Wauson Herndon. He is survived by: his wife Janice Warren Herndon; his children, John Herndon (Carla) of Coeur d'Alene, ID, Mark Herndon (Kelly) and Cynthia Herndon; and his grandchildren, Samuel Herndon, Benjamin Herndon, Morgan Watson and Jadrian Hammon. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
