With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jereld Don Winton (Ada, Oklahoma), who passed away on August 26, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Watson "Watt" Winton and Bessie Christine Casey Winton; his siblings, Meleta Mae "Skeezix" Jordan, Lenora Jo "Red" Hooper, James Thomas "Tommy" Winton, John Wayne "Duke" Winton and Miles Bonner "Gib" Winton; his son-in-law Tommy Lyda; and his great grandchild Luca Nash VanZant.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Loretta Taylor; his daughters, Mariann Lyda of Ada, Tommie Akard (Perry) of Oklahoma City and Loretta Woodall (Kevin) of Idabel; his siblings, Margaret Ann "Margie" Berrie of Fittstown, Billy David "Peck" Winton of Washington, Gaye Gastineau of Pontotoc and Randell Johnson of Tishomingo; Darlis Hatton, Jay Bolin, Londa Foster, Bill Bolin and Jereld. He is also survived by five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
