He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred King and Bernis King; his daughter Carrie; his grandson Jimmy Sharp; and his brother Wayne King.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen King; his daughter Kimberly (Darrell); his grandchildren, Neely Chapman (Nathan), Dale Sharp (Ashley), Bruce Sharp (Haley) and Leigh Ann Sharp; and his sisters, Janet Aday and Teresa Ervin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
