He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Taylor and Elsie Taylor; his brothers, Melvin Taylor (Jackie), Bill Taylor and Brian Taylor (Frances); and his brother-in-law Michael Flatt.

He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Erwin; his granddaughters, Kara Gore and Holly Rollins (Jackie); his great grandchildren, Tiara Gore, Kaedence Sierra, Isaiah James and Xayne Ball; and his sisters, Polly Flatt and LaVaughn Lunguard (Neal).

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
