He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnie Brassfield Sr. and Lena May Brassfield; and his wife Mary Magdalene Brassfield. He is survived by: his children, Jim Brassfield, Judy (Brian Brooks), Janet (Rob Bianchi) and J. Shawn (Melissa Brassfield); his grandchildren, Dion Brassfield, Kim Baird, Jordan, Alex Battles-Wood, Allie Bianchi, Jillian and Joelly Brassfield; his great grandchildren, Chase, Trevor, Brittney, Brinn and Kelsey; and his sister Dee Bevers of Ada, Oklahoma.. He is also survived by 8 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
