He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter A. Kirby and Eula Belle Crow Kirby; and his siblings, Judson Kirby, James Kirby, Robert Kirby, Myrtle Sutton, Mabel Jones and Melba Kirby.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Rose Leary; and his son Gary Kirby (Laura Morrison).
