He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfunce "Fats" Jalufka and Betty Pearl Teague Jalufka. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Bowen; his children, DJ Jalufka of Ada, Calli-Jo (Jarrod Presley) of Byng and Joseph Calvin Jalufka II of Byng; his grandchildren, Brayden, Sophia, Mason Jalufka of Wynnewood, Hayden and Connor Presley of Byng; his brother David (Lea Jalufka) of Choate, Texas; and his friends, Kat Grove, Alex Jones and Jaxson Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Joe, as he was known by, died July 4, 2023 at home surrounded by his family after a hard battle with cancer and Alzheimer's disease.
