It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Counts Quaid of Ada, Oklahoma, born in Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Chester Counts, Jr. and Helen Augusta Counts (Tom Quaid, Sr.); and her brother Chester Carter Counts, III. She is survived by : her husband Tommy W. Quaid, Sr.; her sons, Tommy (Amy) and James (Tamara); her grandchildren, Daniel, Hanna and Noah; her great grandchild Tessa; her sister Kay Godwin (Steve); her nieces and nephews, John Mark Blackman, Garlon Blackman and Rebekah Ellis; her sister-in-law Nancy Beal Counts; and her nephews, Chester Carter Counts IV and David Allen Counts.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made on her behalf to Asbury United Methodist Church, PO Box 2342, Ada, OK 74820, an organization close to Judy's heart.
