He was predeceased by: his parents, Audrey Crabil and Gertie Marie Laughlin Nickell. He is survived by: his wife Janet Lee Hopkins; his children, Kevin Nickell (Lisa) of Maud and Janette New (Marty) of Lawton; his brother Crabil Michael Nickell (Debbie) of Shawnee; and his grandchildren, Rhiannon Nickell, Rece Nickell, Rhett Nickell, Jacob New and Isaac New.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Criswell Funeral Home (815 E Arlington St, Ada, OK 74820). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Union Valley Baptist Church (10041 County Rd 3500, Ada, OK 74820).
