It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Luella Smoot of Ada, Oklahoma, born in McAlester, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 12, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Boyd and Dorothy Marie Casey; her husband Billy Jo Smoot (Bill); her son-in-law Charles Kenneth Thomas (Kenny); and her grandsons, Randall Merriman (Tyler) and Kevin Schawo.

She is survived by: her daughters, Luann Rinowski (Matt) of Tulsa, Nell Wheat (Paul) of Phoenix, AZ, Connie Merriman (Randy) of Holdenville and Sherry Smoot of Latta; her grandchildren, Jason Thomas, Robert Schawo, Laura Merriman, Katie Thomas, Casey Lyles, Jesse Henderson and John Wheat; her stepgrandchildren, Chase Lawrence, Paula Christian, Ben Rinowski and Louis Rinowski; her brothers, Allen Casey (Ann) and Larry Casey (Tonya); and her sister-in-law Mary Smoot. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and beloved friends.
