She is survived by: her husband Leonard W. Monroe; her children, Christy Monroe-Millican and James Monroe; her brothers, Howard Baker Jr. and Malcom Buddy Tartsah; her nephews, BJ Baker and Jimmy Lee Baker; and her niece Michelle Baker Harjo.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Criswell Funeral Home (815 Arlington St, Ada, OK 74820). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chickasaw Nation Community Center (700 N Mississippi Ave, Ada, OK 74820). A burial was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at the High Hill Cemetery.
