He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Lerma and Sofia Rodriguez; and his former wife Maria Isabel Irigoyen. He is survived by: his wife Catarina Rodriguez-Lerma; his children, Miguel Lerma-Irigoyen (Fabiola Mirelez) and Selene Lerma Irigoyen (Jorge Quinones) of Durango, Mexico; his stepchildren, Julio Cesar Sotelo Jr. (Angela Vaughn) of Ardmore, Ruben Sotelo (Jennifer) of Stillwater, Emma Lee Sotelo (Jason Beal) of Ada and Jose Manuel Sotelo (Crystal) of Mustang; and his siblings, Arturo Lerma (Rosa) of Ada, Gerardo Lerma (Nicole) of Allen, Juan Lerma, Manuel Lerma, Francisco Lerma, Antonio Lerma, Carlos Lerma, Estela Lerma of Durango, MX, Reyna Lerma of Durango, MX and Yeni Lerma of Durango, MX. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
