He was predeceased by: his parents, W. H. "Willie" Chronister and Eva Reed Chronister; and his siblings, Florance Pied, Viola Ragland, Pat Nunley, Bonnie Harbin, Lonnie Chronister, Robert Chronister, Hershel Chronister and Gene Chronister.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Chronister; his sons, Tim Chronister (Amy) of Ada and Mark Chronister of Ada; and his grandchildren, Coy Cranford of Ada, Ashley Chronister (Riley McCracken) of Fittstown, Kennadi Chronister of Ada and Greyson Chronister of Ada. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
