He is survived by: his wife Lena McWethy; his children, Robbie McWethy, Timmy McWethy and Jessie Soto; and his siblings, James McWethy, Ronnie McWethy, Danny McWethy, Allan McWethy, Johnny McWethy, Larry McWethy, Linda Sipes and Janet McWethy. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild the he cherished; and many nephews and nieces.
