He is survived by: his child Sandy Tyes (Jimmy E.) of Baldwyn, MS; his grandchildren, Sheneria Miller (Jake), Jimmy Jamal Tyes and Sommer Tyes; his sisters, Dr. Mary Gonsoulin of Ada, OK, Abby Scott (David) of Guntown, MS and Rev. Dorothy Townsend of Tupelo, MS; and his cousin Johnny Long of Red Hill, MS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
