He was predeceased by: his father Don Hudson; his brother David Lee Springer; and his stepbrother Tom Hudson. He is survived by: his mother Margie Hudson; his partner Melia Griswold; his siblings, Steve Springer (Shannon), Tony Springer, Angie Crow (Marc) and Lois Williams (Terry); and his stepbrothers, John Hudson (Judy) and Bob Hudson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family has asked that, in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to the Afton Public Schools Athletic Department.
