She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Herman Slover and Lettie Edith Long (Dean) of Agra Oklahoma; her son Russell; her sisters, Beryl Gossett (John) and Margaret Warren of Gulf Breeze, FL.; her daughters, Mary McReynolds (JE), Megan Hicks (Jack Abgott) and Keun Hicks; and her grandchildren, Jane Burbach, Sarah Frantz, Toby Sharp and Alice Sharp.

“Dear Meghan and Keun, Oh, the memories of your mother! She was the rock for Rick and Judy when Beryl died. And then she lived near Rick and me in Washington for a time. During that time she suffered a terrible burn from a grease fire in her kitchen. She and I had a long-running exchange about the possession of a STRAWBERRY HULLER.
