It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Buchanan of Albert, Oklahoma, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on January 31, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Eugene and Gertrude Frances Willis (Burch); her husband Aaron Ernie Buchanan; and her siblings, Joseph Willis, Mary Willis and James Willis.
She is survived by: her daughter Lona Gertrude (Lee) of Arnett, OK; her grandson Albert Ernie; her son Albert Buchanan (Nang) of Brenham, TX; her sister Frances Brown of Durham, NC; her grandchildren, Aaron Buchanan, David Dowling and Allison Lopez; and her great grandchildren, Tony Lopez, Alex Lopez and Dr. Joseph Dowling. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
