He is survived by: his sisters, JoAnn Kirkes, Elene Schield (Frank) and Patricia Stripling (Glenn); his cousin Teresa Lyndsey (Whitson); his siblings' children, Sammy Roberts (Nicole), Lamon Roberts (Sussee), John Mark Roberts (Donna), Benjamin Schield (Sarah), Jonathan Stripling (Katey), James Moudy and Julie Roberts; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Darian Joslin, Misty Roberts, DJ Roberts, Holle Williams, Ashley, Toni LeAnn Beasley, Willard, Weston, Wyatt, Dillon, Dustin, Lucas Roberts, Dakota James, Arvil Roberts, Jackson and Asher Schield; his close friends, Jason Keck, Ray Aldridge, Kim Hardcastle and Justin Humphrey; his great-nieces, Devan Roberts and Rylynd Stripling; and his great-nephew Toby Stripling.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home (710 US-270, Heavener, OK 74937). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Albion Church of Christ.
