Glendene Griffin Obituary
We announce the death of Glendene Griffin of Allen, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 93. Glendene will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Lee and Allie Mabel Caton Prentice; her brothers, Gene Lee and Benny Perl; her son Bruce Wayne; and her husband Bill.
She is survived by: her siblings, Violet Rhea and Eddie L Prentice (Kay); her daughters, Marla Tinkler (David) and Leah Tidwell (Todd); her grandchildren, Conner Tinkler (Rikki), Dylan Tinkler (Ashton), Matthew Tidwell and Kelsey Anne Tidwell; her great grandchildren, Jordan, Lennon, Ivy and Griffin; and her niece Rita Crawford. She is also survived by extended family, community, and circle of friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Allen Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Free Will Baptist Church (305 E Broadway, Allen, OK 74825).
