It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Boyd of Allen, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jessie had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Jessie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Spitler and Wanda Spitler (Gray); her husband Danny Boyd; and her brother Mike Pannell. She is survived by: her children, Travis Boyd of Allen and April Whitehead of Allen; her brother Gary Pannell; and her grandchildren, Colton Howard, Caden Howard and Grasyn Whitehead.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Allen Chapel (403 E Broadway, Allen, OK 74825). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Allen School (110 N Richmond St, Allen, OK 74825).
