Betty Jo Tipton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Jo Tipton of Altus, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2025 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry C. Sanders and Dora C. Sanders (Souse); her husbands, Sam O'Neal and Orley Tipton; her sons, Sammy Michael O'Neal and David Wayne Tipton; and her siblings, Henry, John Sanders and Anna Lee Burkhart.
She is survived by: her son Randall O'Neal (Lynette); her daughter-in-law Barbara O'Neal; her grandchildren, Tyler O'Neal, Todd O'Neal (Becky), Trey O'Neal (Shera), Travis O'Neal (Jenni), Jennifer LeMay (Greg) and Amy Estes (Kirk); her great grandchildren, Colby, Avery, Troop, Tate, Trott, Maggie, Saylor, Addison, Malia, Madeline, Micah, Maeley, Malachi, Aaron, Ryan, Jake and Colton; her great great grandchild Ayden; and her siblings, Bobbie Jean Epley, Mary Lou Buckley and Eddie Sanders. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Betty's name to the Prayer Ministry of First Baptist Church of Altus, Oklahoma.
